# Add Tax Code to Products

**Note: This is the Tax Code provided to you by Avalara.**

**To add tax code to a product do the following:**

Click on **CRM > Products>** Click on the *blue* **“Edit Icon”** located next to the product you want to add the Tax Code to.

Avalara Tax Codes determines the taxes on the Products and services you sell.This will take you to the **“Edit Product”** page. This is where you will add the **Tax Code** you received from Avalara in the “Tax Code” field and *click* on the blue **“Update Product”**Button to save.
